Working mostly with mixed media on canvas, Linggih explores the dynamics of human relationships. He particularly emphasizes on sexual and emotive tensions between genders. This is depicted in one of his paintings, in which a banana houses a lifeless space, symbolically communicates restlessness, solitude, the longing for love and physical interaction. Linggih has deeply rooted beliefs and values towards relationships. These values are strongly communicated through his works. 'For me love is the greatest attribute possessed by human beings. And what's interesting about love is...when there is no physical interaction between the opposite sexes whatsoever, tension is created. This is how my works are born.
